He Threw my Sins Into the Trash!

      It is always exciting to see a child respond to the invitation at the end of a Bible lesson. This summer while at a 5-Day Club® I had the privilege of overhearing one of the conversations that followed the invitation. There was not much space in our hostess’ yard so my coworker took the child to a spot about five feet behind me. I listened as the child prayed to accept Jesus as his Savior for the first time. Afterward, my coworker asked the child, “What did Jesus just do for you?”

      “He threw my sins in the trash!” the boy responded enthusiastically.

      This Summer, 91 other children experienced the same joy that this little boy did when they accepted Jesus as their Savior. Thank you for the role you have played in this by faithfully praying for me, my coworkers, and the children of Chicagoland!
